The book is an excellent companion to the full text

The book is an excellent companion to the full text. It clearly summarizes the chapter content and provides tips to clarify the important concepts. The problems are relevant and the answers are explained in plain English. The only reason I can't give it 5 stars is that the editing in this books is terrible. I have found numerous instances where answers were wrong because the numbers or text did not format the way they should have. For example, when showing the answer for a question in determining debits in credits, a number shows in the debit column instead of where it should be in the credit column. Easy to recognize, but you don't want to be figuring out that the book has wrong when you're trying to lean the material yourself.

Not as helpful as it should be...

This book explains the concept of the chapter but it also needs to be somewhat like a guide while doing homework. The first volume of the same book was very helpful, chapters 1 through 14. Volume 2, chapters 15 through 24, have not helped with homework at all. And to keep it just so that i could read about the concept it isn't worth it because textbook does it and also my professor. I had this book while going through few chapters but when I saw it has no use, I decided to return it and I am glad I did. I would not recommend this book for your intermediate class unless your professor does not explain the concept clearly then it might help little bit.

Better off getting an internship

Geez just ask the Professor for the answer key!! Way over priced! Ya sure people have succeeded using this practice book...but if you really want to succeed as an Accountant, get an internship! For Pete's sake the wiley practice site is better.
Pros: its a good practice... but dont thank them yet until you get an A+. If you want to be motivated to study it, smack it against either the Debit or Credit side of your head and say "Knowledge!!"
Cons: better off working as an internship and learning HOW they work in their industry. And also too overpriced.
